I'm still not convinced that they are a first place team, but I'm not certain they are a third place team either. I think their standing has a lot to do with how Cincinnati does this year. I'm really convinced Cincinnati is going o make a statement this season, especially if they end up signing Realmuto.

The division is wide open this year. Don't be surprised if Pittsburgh makes a run too. While it will be the toughest division in baseball from top to bottom the Cubs are going to win +100 games.

I can't see the Cubs winning 100 this year, but maybe... All depends on how much they can un-break the offense from last year, how well Darvish is able to perform, and how well the pen does-in terms of consistency.
