Has age caught up to the starting rotation

Coming into this season, the Cubs biggest question mark was their pitching as a whole. After a rough two week stretch to start the year, the staff, inparticular starting rotation pitched lights out for a month causing fans to relax a bit more. Then, the last two weeks have happened where it looks like daily batting practice on the field.

This brings me to one lingering question. Is age finally catching up to this staff where this might be what we see the rest of the season? Or is it just a string of bad luck that we need to right through.

not sure...probably just a down month...i would think they got another good month coming and probably another bad one in store too.

Problem is- one good month, one bad month, wash, rinse and repeat, will equate to a .500 season. These guys are better than that- much better, but they (the rotation) look now like they did in mid-September last year, and that isn't good.
