E1 - Video game-like 1st inning. Three quick solo jacks. Rizzo showing yet again why he's the most dangerous part-time leadoff hitter in baseball. 1st pitch bomb. 1st homer for the Cubs slugger since Opening Day.

M2 - Much better inning for Hendricks in the 2nd. 2 Ks so far for Professor H. In total command after rocky start (no pun intended).

M4 - Another solo homer by Rockies. This time by Arenado. Hendricks has thrown a handful of bad pitches so far. 3 of them just happened to result in homers.

B7 - A rally could be in order. Gotta lover the hustle from Skinny Schwarber on the triple. Considered running home on the bad throw from the outfield. Stayed at 3rd. 1 out for Cubs in the 7th.

Tough loss for Cubs tonight. Even the wind working in favor of hitters, they could muster just three hits. With the losing decision, Hendricks becomes 2-2 overall. 5-game win streak snapped. Cubs will look to rebound tomorrow afternoon as Darvish looks for his 1st win in Cubs uniform.
