Control issue Aside the Cub should definitely be targeting that kid out of Virginia Tech. Craig Kimbrel is not what he once was as a closer and Brandon morrow is not going to be returning to the cubs any time soon. The cubs have not had a legitimate flame throwing reliever since Chapman. Even if it ends up being a case like Tyler chatwood where he walks nearly as many people as he strikes out if the cubs can figure out a way to even harness his command a little bit that kid out of Virginia Tech has a legitimate shot to be the future closer of this organization

Agreed Zack Brzykcy should definitely be on the Cubs radar. But sometimes harnessing control of their pitches is very hard to accomplish as Dillon Maples can attest to. Once upon a time I was sure Dillon was going to be the next Chapman, but he still hasn't been able to harness his command of pitches to make him an elite closer.

Yep ...can't even stay on the roster, let alone be a reliable member of the Cubs bullpen.

Hopefully, this is the season for him whenever it happens
