Any baseball card collectors?

I haven't collected since the 90s. I thought about getting some Cubs cards just for fun. Do people still use Beckett for prices? What is the best way to go about getting cards now?

Beckett will give you current values and new cards are worth not much. There are so many cards in circulation today that the values have dropped to almost nothing.

If you are interested in collecting again I would suggest just starting and keeping them for future generations. Buy complete unopened series if you want to have any hopes of gaining value. If you are just interested in them for the fun of it buying by the pack always is fun because you never know what you are going to get inside.

Topps still is the best, for my money, but many others are also pretty good today.

Card collecting kind of got ruined for me when the grading stuff started happening. It wasn't good enough to open a pack and get a great card. It had to be in perfect shape too.

I haven't had a collection since I was a kid, and that was one my dad gave. Washington Senators, Seattle Pilots, all kinds f stuff that would have been worth a ton today. I'd grown up and moved out on my own, never even thinking about those cards that were in our attic. My mom decided to sell the house, went to clean out the attic, and said, "Oh, Kenny's outgrown these things..." IN THE GARBAGE.
