Cubs- Best-case scenario: The bullpen melds together, and Yu Darvish and Kris Bryant get the team back to the World Series. Worst-case: Both the offense and the bullpen struggle, leading to a third-place finish. Read more from Ryan Davis.

Brewers- Best-case scenario: Last year's playoff loss is enough motivation to spur a World Series run. Worst-case: Christian Yelich regresses as the Cubs rise. Read more from Andrew Wagner.

Reds-Best-case scenario: Newcomers impress as the division's other teams fall off. Worst-case: Newcomers disappoint and end up being shopped around by July. Read more from John Perrotto.

Card..- Best-case scenario: New arrival Paul Goldschmidt leads the Cardinals to a division title. Worst-case: A tough division and injuries to key players doom St. Louis to a fourth straight season without a playoff appearance. Read more from Ari Kaplan.

Pretty much common sense for most people. If Bryant gets back to his MVP ways alongside a healthy Darvish and Morrow, the Cubs will be doing really good.

I'm living the repetition of news every day. There hasn't been a #### thing to right about, so you look deeper into whatever news there is (or was), then try to re-spin it another way. It sucks.

Personally, I'd like to see more information on Harper and Machado. I don't think the media does enough of filling in the blanks on that story. For example, who did Harper have breakfast with today and what did he have? This is the stuff fans want to hear about.

I quit caring about Harper 2 months ago, and now they're saying this may drag out until early March for both him and Machado.

Yeah, some fake post from an MLB look alike account saying he signed with the White Sox.
