It appears the Cubs got cash money to spend. I'm starting to warm to the deal a lot since the Cubs got the best free agent pitcher available and still are under the luxury tax next year so they will be able to get another star next offseason.

The rotation is very solid 1-5 if everyone stays healthy. I can't believe at one point, Arrieta's agent was asking 7 years and 200 million. It appears that he will get a 4 year deal around 100 million or so. I think the per year might be larger than Darvish but he more than likely not get 5 or 6 years.
