T4 — Kudos to D-backs catcher Murphy. He's been a beast throwing from behind the plate tonight. Great throw results in Schwarber being called out trying to dive back into 2B. Schwarber doesn't think that the tag was applied, though, so Maddon challenges.

T5 — Missed opportunity for another legendary base-running highlight by Javy. He stops short on 1B line & slides feet-first into bag b/c of bad throw pulling first baseman off the bag. Baez seems to touch first before being tagged but is called out. Unfortunately for Cubs, they already used up their challenge.

T5 — Upon further review, the first baseman's foot was actually barely touching the bag, & he didn't even realize it. So the out call was correct. In other news, Bote goes yard AGAIN! 1st multi-homer game for him in his MLB career.

T7 — Bote gets HBP & isn't happy about it. Benches clear & bullpens empty. Hard to tell if it was intentional. Bote's hit 2 HRs tonight & hasn't shied away from bat flips/fired-up celebrations after both of them. Understandable why Cubs would think it was intentional.
