T6 — Zobrist comes through in the clutch. Single to LF enables the speedy Heyward to come home. Bad throw from left fielder allows J-Hey to score without having to slide. Cubs back on top, & Lynn coming out of game.

F — Ballgame. Walk-off wild pitch ends wacky opening series that featured 51 total runs. Bad relief pitching for Cubs does them in. Symbolic ending by losing on wild pitch. Gallo scores, & Rangers win series 2-1.

Ugly. I told Marianne the minute Montgomery took the mound, "It's 8-6, Cubs. Watch this, Monty gives up a two run single to the first batter, and it ties the game." I was close- 2-run triple. Way to go on that 83.00 ERA, Mr. Montgomery.
