Seriously jokes aside, Jon Lester was a big deal. The Cubs made a statement with that signing as did Jon Lester.

Basically, they said they weren't going to accept being the lovable losers anymore. They were going for a title and they did it.

Lester would rank up there for sure. In a short time, he has become the face of the rotation.

jon Lester and Anthony Rizzo for me are my favorites. But I'm a younger fan then most.

I have no issue with Rizzo. Cubs have had a lot of good signings over the years.
