Adduci has earned especially after Sunday's game, but happ should have gotten the call. It gives the Cubs more flexibility for inter league series

I just don't see Happ getting back to Chicago. If the Cubs were going to move him up, they'd certainly have done so with KB/J-Hey getting injured.

I agree there, of what is there to lose calling him up for this series or for this road trip knowing that Hayward in Bryant are banged up. What's the worst that can happen he strikes out 3 times in one game when the cubs did plenty of that last night he offers I think more power than Jim Does

I guess I would agree that Happ is more (at least as) likely to hit as Adduci is, and he certainly has a better shot at producing than Descalso does, but I just don't think it's going to happen.

At this point what good is it to put Daniel
out there when hes hitting under a 200. To me that is a wasted roster spot for somebody that has an opportunity to produce. With the way Addison Russell is hitting as of weight why not platoon him with David bote And use Daniel strictly as a pinch hitter. I'm not saying ian happ is going to come up and crush the baseball but hes a better option right now then Daniel in every facet because he can play multiple positions and he offers a lot more the overall speed.

Just because Happ plays multiple positions does not mean that he plays them well. Stats prove he's a mediocre fielder at best (in the infield I mean). As a CF, he's not even in Almora's league, and he has no prayer for replacing Heyward or even Schwarber. Happ does have a little speed, I'll grant you that, but when you have a cannon like Schwarber's... I've seen Happ commit way too many errors at third, and while he does OK at 2nd, I'd much rather see Russell or Baez there.
