I don't think Maddon's contract really has much to do with the restaurant. Whether he's with the Cubs or elsewhere, his name will carry the restaurant, while he reaps the benefits. It would probably be better for business if he stays in Chicago, as fans would likely see him there from time to time, but in the end it will likely make money either way.
