Miami Marlins (13-22) @ Chicago Cubs (18-15)

Wei-Yin Chen (1-1, 4.82) vs. Jose Quintana (3-2, 4.99)

Cubs gunning for 3-game sweep of Marlins. Baez and Contreras back out there. No Schwarber, though. J-Hey on concussion list, of course. Quintana looking to make up for subpar 4-inning outing in his last start.

Only two other Cubs 3B have ever hit 100 homers (Aramis Ramirez and Ron Santo). Bryant joins them 3 years to the day since his 1st homer.

B3 — Russell follows up great catch in top half of inning with leadoff double in bottom half. 8th double this season. A few ABs later, Bryant with 2nd hit of afternoon. Double to wall in right-center. Cubs up 2-0 with men on 2nd and 3rd.

B3 — Groin injury must be healed for Javy. Beats out throw on infield hit. Now with 33 RBI (leads majors). RBI on the play for Baez. Cubs up 3-0.

The Cubs have hit 7 home runs and counting in this series. Safe to say the miserable Marlins came to town at just the right time to rejuvenate a reeling offense.
