Cincinnati Reds (63-86) @ Chicago Cubs (87-61)

Luis Castillo (9-12, 4.66) vs. Jose Quintana (13-9, 3.97)

Cubs aiming for three-game sweep and fourth straight win. Rizzo back in the leadoff spot for the first time in a while. Heyward activated before game after missing a few weeks with a hamstring injury.

M1 — Reds get leadoff HR to start game as part of really long opening half-inning. Quintana throws 28 pitches & escapes bases-loaded jam by forcing inning-ending popup.

T4 — 2nd leadoff shot of game for Reds. Ervin clocks out beyond CF on fastball thrown right down pipe. All 4 of Cincy's runs in this series have been via solo jacks.

E4 — Controversial ruling in Chicago. Shot up 1B line by Caratini called foul. Not reviewable. Looked like ball might've gone right over edge of bag. Would've scored Rizzo if called fair. Popup after that. Cubs strand 2.

B5 — Contreras hits absolute moonshot to deep CF that comes down just short of HR. Hits off wall. Contreras got caught ogling his hit (thinking it was gone) & has to hustle just to get double. Cubs have men on 2B & 3B with 1 out.
