Teams starting to make moves

I love the trading season, and although the non-waiver trade deadline in still just over 2 months away, I can see it's already getting started. Not so much for seeing who the Cubs will keep or deal, but just to watch how the teams around the league react to what they believe will make them better.

Jerry Dipoto (Seattle) is never at rest, while other teams (even those needing a serious overhaul), sometimes lay quietly, doing nothing. I looked at the Mariners' transactions for My the other day, and it seems like they are trading, optioning, DFA'ing or releasing guys by the day. Dipoto reminds me of a day-trader in the stock maret- always buying and selling. He's done more in the last week than the Cubs did all last winter.

And what players would you rather have the Mariners or the Cubs. They are letting them go because they are awful.

They just signed a pretty decent reliever today.
