What are some Interesting Features of Wrigley not many know?

Wrigley is an older field and Cubs have played there for a long time. Cubs have a strong following but some fans haven't been to live games in a long time and might not know some of the cool facts behind Wrigley.

My favorite is this Wrigley Field has been home to more than just the Cubs, of particular note the Chicago Bears for almost 50 years

The 2016 world series was the first, and only time, the Cubs have won one while playing at Wrigley Field. All previous wins came at Westside Grounds.

Wrigley was first called West Side Park, then Weeghman Field, and finally Cubs Park until Wrigley bought the Cubs and changed the name.

The baskets lining the outfield bleachers weren't installed until 1970 because of fan interference concerns.

Oh, and The Daily Herald sports columnist Barry Rozner was a beer vendor back in the day at Wrigley.

That was the first place I ever saw a ballgame. That had to be around 1971.
