I'm so tired of hearing about Bryce Harper that it isn't even funny. The guy is talented, but is he $300M worth of talented? I doubt it. Cubs can't afford a mid-level pitcher right now from what I'm seeing, and I can't become disillusioned by the thought of them getting Harper- ain't happening.

Oh, I think we are all sick of the Harper hype, but he seems a decent fellow.
It is interesting to me that neither he nor Machado have been signed yet though. Nothing like a good MLB mystery, eh?

It's all a game between the two of them. All they are doing is clogging up the system for other FA's to be signed. Philly was smart about it- they said we aren't playing this game and getting stuck, so they went out and ensured they got help in the OF via McCutchen. Other teams should be as smart.
