They need to get back to fundamental baseball and stop with the mental errors, hustle out of the box, stop running themselves out of the potential big innings or scoring opportunities. Be more selective at the plate and make the pitcher work. There's nothing wrong with taking a walk or working the count to 3-2. Cut down on the strikeouts.

I would like to see Dee Gordon at 2nd base and leadoff. Could use an effective southpaw pitcher. This coming out of the bullpen and walking the first batter needs to stop. Maybe the biggest factor for the 2nd half is to get healthy and stay healthy. Most winning teams are healthy. It's getting to the part of the season that we can ill afford major injuries. As always it will come down to the team who pitches well and stays healthy.
