Jeimer made his major league debut in 2016, appearing in five games ... 2017 marks his seventh professional season, all in the Cubs organization ... was added to the Cubs 40-man roster, November 20, 2015 ... Has batted .270 (659-for-2,439) with 56 homers and 361 RBI in 658 minor league contests ... Selected to the 2016 All-Star Futures Game in San Diego, but did not play after being promoted to the majors ... Named a Southern League mid-season All-Star in 2016 and a Carolina League mid-season All-Star in 2015 ... Was named a 2015 Arizona Fall League Rising Star after batting .329 (27-for-82) with eight doubles, five homers and 15 RBI in 21 games for the Mesa Solar Sox ... Ranked as the seventh-best prospect in the Cubs organization by Baseball America entering the 2017 season ... was ranked 10th entering 2016 ... Ranked as the No. 96 prospect in MLB.com's Top 100 entering the 2017 campaign ... Has twice earned Player of the Week honors, once with Kane County in 2014 and again in 2015 with Mesa in the Arizona Fall League ... Made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Cubs in 2011, batting .337 (84-for-249) in 72 games.
