On Sunday afternoon in the first inning, he picked off outfielder Lorenzo Cain that was off the bag too far after bluffing to second base.

Contreras threw an accurate rocket to first base to get Cain.

The play was under review but Victor Caratini clearly tagged him in the face before he got back on the base.

It was a strike em' out, throw em' out play.
