CHICAGO — Staying hot, Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras homered for the second time on the evening when he took Minnesota Twins starter Homer Bailey deep in the third inning. Contreras previously smacked a solo bomb in the first frame.
Taking on the Twins at Wrigley Field on Wednesday, the Cubs went up 4-0 as a result of Contreras' second long ball. The impressive solo shot carried 444 feet over the ivy and ricocheted off the awning beyond center field.
