Addison Russell reportedly was hospitalized in Denver

The Chicago Cubs had their wildest game of the year in their 9-7 win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday night.

However, it got even crazier after the game as Addison Russell had an allergic reaction to something he ate in the postgame spread possibly shellfish and was checked into the hospital for several hours on Sunday night according to the Chicago Sun Times.

He wasn't able to fly with the team to Cleveland but rejoined them on Monday.

For the season, he is batting .219 and the Cubs will play the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday.
