Chicago Cubs pitching coach Chris Bosio will be away on personal matters the next few days starting on Tuesday according to multiple reports. The veteran pitching coach will be missed as he is a former major league starter with ten years of experience with the Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners while even throwing a no-hitter in 1993.
There is no news yet on his possible return as this is his second leave of absence this season. Bullpen coach Lester Strode will now serve as the pitching coach for the Cubs with Bosio away from the team. Henry Blanco will now fill in as the bullpen coach.
