Cubs Co-owner will become RNC finance chairman

Chicago Cubs Co-owner Todd Ricketts will replace embattled Steve Wynn as the new Republican National Committee Finance chair according to multiple reports on Tuesday.

Wynn stepped down from this post on Saturday because of multiple allegations of sexual harassment.

Rickets is a longtime GOP donor and currently on the board of directors of the Chicago Cubs and TD Ameritrade.

He was President Trump's top pick for Commerce secretary before he bowed out in April.

Trump said back on Nov. 30 about Ricketts “is an immensely successful businessman with unparalleled knowledge of the finance industry.”
