Sunday's Cubs-Nationals game has been postponed for Thursday at 3:05 p.m. CT in Washington D.C. Thursday was going to be the Cubs only off-day in 24 days. Now the Cubs will have to fly to Chicago for a pivotal series with the Brewers and then fly to Washington for this single game and then head back home for a game for the following day. Now the Cubs will have a scheduled 30 straight games with no day offs. The Cubs will now have only one day off the rest of the season on Sept 20 which is after returning from a night game in Arizona. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, rain delays this weekend in this Cubs-Nationals series lasted 10 hours and 56 minutes. Today's #Nats-Cubs game has been postponed due to inclement weather.
