Cubs add outfielder to big league camp

The Chicago Cubs have added outfielder Charcer Burks to spring training as a non-roster invitee on Sunday according to multiple reports.

In 2017 in 121 games, Burks hit .270 with ten homers, 16 stolen bases at Double-AA Tennessee. During the Arizona Fall League in 18 games, he batted .236 with seven doubles, seven RBIs, and two stolen bases.

He is a homegrown product as he was drafted by the Cubs in the ninth round in 2013.
