Cubs fan Rick Kempke won $1,000,000 on Thursday after his checking out his winning Cash Spectacular Illinois Lottery ticket.

“I can’t believe it!” Kempke said to the lottery officials. “I’m a huge Cubs fan and now that I won the lottery, I might buy a ticket for tomorrow night’s game!”

Kempke got the lump sum of $600,000 instead of waiting for the multiple payments over the years.

He will have enough plenty of money to able to buy nice seats to check out NLCS game 6 at Wrigley Field on Saturday night.
