Cubs favorites to land Bryce Harper |
The biggest jewel of the baseball offseason will be future free agent Bryce Harper who is set to hit the open market to truckloads of cash which could get as high as around $400 million.
Bovada released their latest Vegas odds on Wednesday and have the Cubs with the highest chance (+150) to land the standout slugger. Other frontrunners to land his services include the Dodgers (+350), Yankees (+450), Phillies (+650), and Nationals (+700). Personally, I don't see him making the move to the North Side with the current roster configuration but never underestimate the power of Theo Epstein and how he can make moves if thinks it will help the team in the long run. Harper is hitting .247 with 34 homers and 97 RBI this season.
