Cubs lineup vs. Braves, Bryant to start at first base

Friday afternoon's batting lineup for the game between the Chicago Cubs (6-6) vs. the Atlant Braves (7-5) at 1:20 p.m. CDT at Wrigley Field will be the following:

Albert Almora Jr. CF

Tommy La Stella 3B

Kris Bryant 1B

Willson Contreras C

Kyle Schwarber LF

Addison Russell SS

Javy Baez 2B

Jason Heyward RF

Yu Darvish P

Almora Jr. was slated to start the game (illness) but Ian Happ will now start in his place at centerfield.

Darvish (0-0, 5.23 ERA) will be on the mound today for his Wrigley Field debut opposed by righty Anibal Sanchez (0-0, 2.25 ERA).

Ben Zobrist gets the day off as he is a lifetime .067 hitter in 15 at-bats against Sanchez.

The Cubs starting pitchers for later in the week include Jose Quintana on Saturday and Tyler Chatwood on Sunday.

The game will be televised on NBC Chicago, MLB Network (outside-the-Chicago area), and MLB.TV.
