Cubs lineup vs. Braves, Contreras at LF |
It's freezing (38 degrees with wind chills up to mid-20's) but the Cubs are trying to play the game as of now.
Sunday afternoon's batting lineup for the series finale between the Chicago Cubs (7-7) vs. the Atlanta Braves (8-6) at 1:20 p.m. CDT at Wrigley Field will be the following: Ben Zobrist RF Kris Bryant 1B Javy Baez 2B Tyler Chatwood P Chatwood (0-2, 4.91 ERA) will be on the mound today opposed by righty Julio Teheran (0-1, 7.07 ERA). Game has been postponed. The game will be televised on WGN-TV and MLB.TV if the weather permits. Today is Jackie Robinson Day throughout major league baseball. One interesting note via historian Ed Hartig is that Wrigley Field is the only current ballpark that Robinson played in. Thank you, Jackie Robinson. We are proceeding as planned until we hear otherwise. If we do hear otherwise, we will post about it.
