The heated rivalry series is about to begin for the Cubs and Cards.

Jon Lester P It will be a battle between two veteran pitchers with Jon Lester (7-2, 2.22 ERA) and Michael Wacha (8-1, 2.47 ERA). Lester is 5-1 with a 1.63 ERA in his last eight starts and 1-0 in two starts against the Cardinals this season. Heyward gets the day off as he is currently 2-for-16 lifetime against Wacha.
