Saturday's batting lineup for the second game of the series between the Cubs (60-43) and the Cardinals (52-51) at 3:05 p.m. CDT will be the following:

1. Anthony Rizzo 1B

2. Albert Almora Jr. CF

3. Jason Heyward RF

4. Javier Baez SS

5. Willson Contreras C

6. Kyle Schwarber LF

7. Ian Happ 3B

8. Jose Quintana P

9. David Bote 2B

It will be a pitching battle between 'Q' (9-6, 3.87 ERA) and righty Miles Mikolas (10-3, 2.82). Quintana has won his last three starts with a 1.89 ERA.

Cubs slugger Anthony Rizzo is back in the leadoff spot which is the 28th time in his career. Joe Maddon is batting infielder David Bote ninth so he can try to get someone on base for the hot-hitting Rizzo.

Rizzo is 13 hits away from 1,000 in his career and he is tied for 12th in homers (179) with the Cubs.

Bote will get a start at second base while Baez shifts over to shortstop as Addy Russell sits again. Ian Happ gets his second straight start at the hot corner.

Speaking of Baez, he is the fourth Cubs player in the last 16 seasons to have 20 homers and 75 RBIs before Aug. 1.

The Cubs game will be televised nationally on NBC Sports Chicago and Fox Sports One.
