Wednesday afternoon's batting lineup for the rubber match between the Cubs (41-29) and the Dodgers (38-34) at 1:20 p.m. CDT will be the following:
1. Kris Bryant 3B 2. Jason Heyward RF 3. Ben Zobrist 2B 4. Anthony Rizzo 1B 5. Albert Almora Jr. CF 6. Kyle Schwarber LF 7. Willson Contreras C 8. Javier Baez SS 9. Jon Lester P It will be a battle between Lester (8-2, 2.28 ERA) and righty Ross Stripling (6-1, 1.76 ERA). Bryant will lead off for the fifth time this season and Almora gets the start and bats fifth in the lineup. One other note, Addison Russell gets the day off while Zobrist starts at second base and Baez slides over to shortstop.
