by - Senior Editor -

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Cubs will battle the Los Angeles Dodgers in a must-win game five of the NLCS at 7:08 p.m. CDT on Thursday night televised on TBS.

Lefty Jose Quintana will start for the defending World Champions opposed by lefty standout Clayton Kershaw.

Quintana has a 11-11 record with 4.15 ERA and 207 strikeouts this season. During this postseason, he has allowed only two runs in 11 1/3 innings.

Albert Almora Jr. will leadoff again and take the place of Jason Heyward in the outfield while Javy Baez gets another start at second base after his incredible two-homer display last night. Ben Zobrist also gets the nod over Heyward and Jon Jay in the outfield.

Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber stays in the two-hole again. He is just the third N.L. player to hit 6 post-season home runs by his age 24 season, joining Albert Pujols (8) and Andruw Jones (7). The Cubs will try to get more going than just the long ball as they are currently 0-for-13 with men in scoring position against the Dodgers.
