Thursday night's batting lineup for the first game of a four-game series between the Cubs (29-23) and the New York Mets (27-26) at 6:10 p.m. CDT at Citi Field will be the following:

Jose Quintana P Cubs will have Quintana on the mound (5-4, 4.78 ERA) against righty Seth Lugo (1-1, 2.48 ERA). Shortstop Addison Russell gets the day off as Javy Baez gets the start. Outfielder Jason Heyward gets moved up to the No. 2 spot in the lineup after his consecutive three-hit games in Pittsburgh. The last time he batted at the No. 2 spot it was against the Mets on July 3, 2016. The contest will be televised on NBC Sports Chicago and MLB.TV.
