Friday night's batting lineup for the second game of the series between the Cubs (83-57) and the Nationals (69-72) at 6:05 p.m. CDT will be the following:
1. Daniel Murphy 2B 2. Javier Baez SS 3. Anthony Rizzo 1B 4. Ben Zobrist RF 5. Kris Bryant CF 6. Kyle Schwarber LF 7. Willson Contreras C 8. Jon Lester P 9. David Bote 3B Kyle Schwarber is back in the lineup after the back issue that he suffered during two days ago. In other lineup news, Kris Bryant gets his first centerfield start of the season. He had two starts at that spot last season and one total in 2015 (Aug 23 at Pitt). It will be a pitching battle between Lester (15-5, 3.53 ERA) and righty Joe Ross (0-0, 0.00).
