Cubs lineup vs. Nationals, Zobrist returns

Friday's batting lineup for the first game of the series between the Cubs (66-48) and the Nationals (59-56) at 1:20 p.m. CDT will be the following:

1. Anthony Rizzo 1B
2. Javier Baez 2B
3. Ben Zobrist RF
4. Jason Heyward CF
5. David Bote 3B
6. Kyle Schwarber LF
7. Willson Contreras C
8. Kyle Hendricks P
9. Addison Russell SS

It will be a pitching battle between the 'Professor' (8-9, 4.07 ERA) and righty Jeremy Hellickson (5-2, 3.56). The Cubs rotation for the rest of the week including Jose Quintana on Tuesday, Kyle Hendricks on Wednesday, Jon Lester on Thursday, Cole Hamels on Friday, Mike Montgomery on Saturday (Aug 18).

The Cubs game will be televised nationally on NBC Sports Chicago and MLB Network (out-of-market only).
