Sunday's batting lineup for the finale of the series between the Cubs (64-46) and the Padres (43-70) at 1:20 p.m. CDT will be the following:

1. Albert Almora Jr. CF
2. Javier Baez 2B
3. David Bote 3B
4. Addison Russell SS
5. Kyle Schwarber LF
6. Willson Contreras C
7. Victor Caratini 1B
8. Jon Lester P
9. Ian Happ RF

It will be a pitching battle between Lester (12-4, 3.22 ERA) and lefty Joey Lucchesi (5-6, 3.74).

Veterans Anthony Rizzo and Jason Heyward both get the day off today.

With several of the veterans getting the day off, Contreras is the oldest player (26) in the starting lineup.

This is the four year anniversary of Baez's major league debut in which he hit a 12th inning homer in the Cubs' 6-5 win against the Rockies.

The Cubs game will be televised nationally on WGN-TV.
