Friday's batting lineup for the second game of the series between the Cubs (62-46) and the Padres (43-68) at 1:20 p.m. CDT will be the following:
1. Anthony Rizzo 1B 2. Ben Zobrist 2B 3. Jason Heyward RF 4. Javier Baez SS 5. Ian Happ CF 6. Kyle Schwarber LF 7. Victor Caratini C 8. Jose Quintana P 9. Tommy La Stella 3B It will be a pitching battle between 'Q' (9-7, 4.26 ERA) and righty Tyson Ross 6-8, 4.41). Quintana is 2-0 with a 2.89 ERA in his last three starts at Wrigley Field. Russell gets the day off as 'El Mago' takes over at shortstop and infielder Tommy La Stella mans third base.
