The Chicago Cubs are now only one game back of the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Central race.

Thursday afternoon's batting lineup for the third game of the series between the Cubs (34-24) and the Philadelphia Phillies (32-27) at 1:20 p.m. CDT will be the following:

1. Albert Almora Jr. CF
2. Tommy La Stella 2B
3. Kris Bryant 3B
4. Anthony Rizzo 1B
5. Javier Baez SS
6. Kyle Schwarber LF
7. Ian Happ RF
8. Chris Gimenez C
9. Tyler Chatwood P

Cubs will have the Chatwood on the mound (3-4, 4.02 ERA) against righty Nick Pivetta (4-4, 3.48 ERA).

It appears that Gimenez might be the temporary personal catcher for Chatwood because Willson Contreras gets the day off in another one of Chatwood's starts.

Last night's hero Jason Heyward is also not in the starting lineup as youngster Ian Happ gets the start in right field. Heyward is batting .389 in his last 8 games this season.

The contest will be televised on NBC Sports Chicago and MLB.TV.
