The Cubs will try to go for an impressive seven-game winning streak today.

Friday afternoon's batting lineup for the first game of the series between the Cubs (49-35) and the Reds (38-49) at 1:20 p.m. CDT will be the following:

2. Jason Heyward RF

3. Javier Baez 3B

4. Anthony Rizzo 1B

5. Ben Zobrist 2B

6. Kyle Schwarber LF

7. Willson Contreras C

8. Addison Russell SS

9. Mike Montgomery P

It will be a pitching battle between Montgomery (3-2, 3.55 ERA) and righty Tyler Mahle (6-6, 3.83 ERA).

The game will be televised on NBC Sports Chicago and MLB Network (out-of-market-only).
