Cubs lineup vs. White Sox, Bryant out

The Crosstown Series is back!

Sunday afternoon's batting lineup for the game between the Cubs (90-64) and the White Sox (61-93) at 1:10 p.m. CDT will be the following:

1. Daniel Murphy DH

2. Ben Zobrist 2B

3. Javier Baez SS

4. Anthony Rizzo 1B

5. Albert Almora Jr. CF

6. David Bote 3B

7. Willson Contreras C

8. Kyle Schwarber LF

9. Ian Happ RF

It will be a pitching battle between the 'Professor' (12-11, 3.58 ERA) and lefty Carlos Rodon (6-6, 3.22). The Cubs pitching schedule for the upcoming week will be Hamels on Monday, Montgomery on Tuesday, Quintana on Wednesday, and Lester on Thursday.

Kris Bryant gets a day off as he was suffering a little fatigue in his shoulder. David Bote fills in at third base.

In case you missed it, last night Cubs reached 90 wins for the fourth straight season. It is the longest streak for the North Siders since a 9-year run from 1904-1912.

The Cubs-Reds game will be televised on ABC 7 Chicago.
