Cubs reportedly sending down reliever

The Chicago Cubs are sending down lefty reliever Randy Rosario to Triple-A Iowa on Friday according to a report by ESPN's Jesse Rogers.

Rosario has had a solid season recording a 4-0 record with a 3.00 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 28 appearances. However, in his last seven appearances, he has been rocked for 10 hits, 7 earned runs, 8 walks with a 9.00 ERA and 2.57 WHIP.

No word yet on who will take his spot on the roster for the Cubs.
