CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs today announced they have signed 32 selections from the 2018 First-Year Player Draft ahead of today’s deadline, including each of their first 20 picks.

Overall, the Cubs have signed the following five new selections from the 2018 Draft since the club’s last announcement, bringing the final total to 32 signed players: infielder Andy Weber (fifth round), lefthander Josh Sawyer (16th round), righthander Jake Reindl (17th round), righthander Niels Stone (27th round) and outfielder Edmond Americaan (35th round).
