Cubs still lagging in latest All-Star vote

It's time for Cubs fans to vote on their favorite players if they want any chance for the positional players to make the Midsummer Classic.

Let's get right to the vote totals as several Cubs players are in second place at their respective positions:

First base: Anthony Rizzo has 566,383 votes and currently 2nd place behind Freddie Freeman who is way ahead at 1,433,140 votes.

Second Base: Javier Baez is currently second place at 767,417 votes behind another Brave player Ozzie Albies with 915,736 votes.

Baez is 148,319 votes behind.

Third Base: Kris Bryant is currently second place at 677,185 votes way behind Nolan Arenado at 1,124,563 votes.

Bryant is 447,378 votes behind.

Shortstop: Addison Russell's 475,091 votes are third place behind Brandon Crawford (1,120,031) and Dansby Swanson (568,400).

Catcher: Willson Contreras is second in the voting at his position with 596,111 votes behind superstar Buster Posey at 686,253 votes.

Contreras is only 90,412 votes behind.

Jason Heyward is currently 7th in the outfielder voting at 447,359 votes with Kyle Schwarber behind him at 8th place (442,471), and Ben Zobrist at 9th place with 434,943.
