Cubs surprise Children's Hospital patients with spring training visit

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Cubs surprised four children at the Advocate Children's Hospital on Wednesday with Spring Training tickets.

The four children were able to go to Wrigley Field and then were told on the video board that they were invited with their family to Spring Training in Arizona for three days at no cost. This is one reason that so many people love and appreciate the Cubs organization. They really do a lot in the community to help as a majority of the children (ages 12-17) from the hospital have various forms of cancer or heart issues.

The team released a short video of the children spending time with the ballclub. Great job to everyone involved!
