Cubs trolled angry fan so savagely that he deleted his account |
There are some people that just love to complain...especially on Twitter.
The official Twitter account for the Cubs went off an angry fan on social media complaining about young reliever Carl Edwards Jr. and how he should be demoted to Triple-A Iowa. "For the love of God please send Carl Edwards Jr. to Iowa," he posted. Edwards has been extremely impressive this season pitching 17.2 innings with a sparkling 2.04 ERA with 31 strikeouts and 1.01 WHIP. The Cubs responded with the following tweet about Edwards: Carl Edwards Jr. went 14 straight outings without allowing a run and has only allowed runs in two outings this season. The fan was so embarrassed or thought what he had done was so regretful that he deleted his own account. Also works. pic.twitter.com/GCjRjheKGi
We look forward to the deletion of your tweet. https://t.co/FvxfKCDwh5
