Former Chicago Cubs catcher and bonafide dancing star David Ross will be making his announcing debut on ESPN for the Boston Red Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals game on Wednesday night according to multiple reports. It will be interesting to see how Ross' genuinue and colorful personality translates as a color commentary in front of millions on baseball fans on television. He should know a lot about both teams as the Red Sox was one of his former teams and the Cardinals are the rivals for the Northsiders.

Ross has been the last few months busy dancing his way into the final four couples on the popular show Dancing with the Stars on ABC. Ross and his partner Lindsay Arnold will back at it tonight at 7 p.m. CDT on ABC. Eventually, Ross will return to the Cubs as a staffer and also do work for ESPN once the dancing finishes up.
