Cubs News: Fan charged with a felony after running onto Wrigley Field

by - Senior Editor -

This is when 'keeping it real' goes wrong.

24-year Joseph Confer ran onto the field during Sunday's game against the Pirates and was quickly tackled by security. To make matters worse, he was wearing a Yankees jersey at Wrigley Field which should probably be a felony on itself.

I have no idea why he thought that running onto the field was a wise decision or wearing a jersey from a team that is not even playing.

Confer has been charged with criminal trespass to a place of public amusement and will appear in bond court today.
