Cubs News: Kris Bryant MRI update on his shoulder

Chicago Cubs star third baseman Kris Bryant has missed the last three games while being on the disabled list and updated his injury status on Friday.

Bryant spoke to reporters during pre-game of Friday's rivalry game with the Cardinals.

He said that the second MRI showed no structural damage in the shoulder but had to get another cortisone shot. He told reporters that he will be back "a thousand percent" this season but there is no timetable for his return.

For the season, Bryant is batting .276 with 11 homers and 44 RBIs. Since returning from the DL, he is batting .250 with two homers and 8 RBIs.
